I Have not been the best blogger but today is a special day its lafe's Birthday! And on this fine day I want to tell him that he is everything to me. He is an amazing husband, father, and friend. He is a great teacher to Daynie and I know he will be the same to our other little princess who is on her way. Daynie cannot get enough time with her daddy, he always jokes about danyie only wanting me. So the other day We were going shopping and lafe said Day do you want to go with Mommy or stay and work with daddy?.. She picked Daddy.. But daddy was joking because he was sure she would pick me. She cried for 10 minutes when I took her. Its a little cold for a 2 year old to pull wire on a house in 32 degree weather haha. So needless to say she might love mom but she cant spend enough of her dad.
I am so grateful for him honoring his priesthood and being a good example to everyone around him. He loves his calling as the ward financial clerk. He says its the best job. You get to go to your class and get to know everyone in the ward through the calling as well. Its wonderful having someone who wants to better others around him.
Lafe is such a hard worker! I think it all stems from growing up working on a farm and milking cows. He will work and work to try and make sure everyone around him is happy with his work and with him. Its an amazing Quality. And i look up to him for it. I am a better person because of him.

It's A Girl!

That's right, we're having another girl. We found out surrounded by family at a get together at our home. My sister Alaina had the idea to put the results of the ultrasound in a cake... when we cut into the cute cake PINK is what we saw! We are excited to add another little gal to the family.

Hey everyone I decided its been a million years since I last wrote so I thought it would be great to update everyone on our life. On May 9th Pursy our outside dog had puppies... 9 puppies to be accurate! We have named them all I know I know you are not suppose to do that but we could not keep them all straight. There are 3 girls and 6 boys the names are as follows- Titan, Trigger, Tiger, Pope, Tennessee high socks, Twitch, Laila Midnight, Lily and Lucy. Wow a mouth full huh! Daynie drags them around all day long if you let her and when she comes out they all come running at her feet. We love them but we are sure hopping we will be able to find 9 other people who will love them just as much!!!!!

Well I know I know I have taken for ever to post this sorry everyone. So on Friday July 25TH Daynie turned the big #1! We had both of our families over for a BBQ and a water party. We felt like it was a really great turn out, and Daynie thought she had died and gone to heaven with everyone around. We had a big blow up water slide and a triple slip-n-slide. Daynie was not a fan of the water because it was cold but it was ok all the other kids enjoyed it, and she enjoyed watching. Alaina made her cake and we loved it! It turned out so cute and it tasted great too. It is just so crazy to believe our baby girl is one and growing as we speak! I would swear that just yesterday the doctor handed her to me and it felt like the world stopped turning. I hope that i will never forget what that felt like. We Love You Princess Always And Forever!!!!!

I cant believe that Daynie is now 10 months old! She is really enjoying feeding herself unfortunately she gets it everywhere! But its ok she still looks cute doing it.

Well I thought I would put up some pictures of our trip! Lafe, Kara and I went on a cruise from L.A. to San Diago, to Catilina and then to Ensanada Mexico. We decided to leave Daynie behind with Lafes Older Brother and his family and she had a really good time with them! But it was hard when we came home Daynie had decided to be mad at her mommie so it took a little warming up on her part, and me giving her a little candy.... Hey what ever works!!! I hope you enjoy the pics we sure did have fun!
